Welcome to the EnviroPerks Creative Art Challenge FAQ!
The City of Atlanta Department of Public Works, Cartlanta, Keep Atlanta Beautiful, Atlanta Public Schools and EnviroPerks offer a school art contest
from May to September 2016 (EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 31ST 2016!), where students are challenged to produce images and logos to encourage the Atlanta residents to recycle.
How Can Students Participate?
They need to send a digital version or a photo of the artwork (according to the level categories explained below) per email to info@enviroperks.com
before September 23rd 2016 (EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 31ST 2016!), along with the entry agreement form, signed by their parents.
• For elementary school students:
Use painting, photographs, drawings, crafts, etc. to illustrate your vision of a world where everyone recycles and a vision of a world where no one
recycles.
Digital files are preferred. If the artwork is not digital, please scan or take a photo.
• For middle school students:
Use painting, photographs, drawings, crafts, etc. to design a poster that will encourage people to recycle, with the title “Recycle for…”. Example:
“Recycle for the future”.
Digital files are preferred. If the artwork is not digital, please scan or take a photo.
• For high school students:
Use any painting, photograph, drawing, craft, etc. to create a logo that symbolizes Atlanta’s mission of recycling.
Digital files are preferred. If the artwork is not digital, please scan or take a photo.
What Is There To Win?
• Students with winning entries will receive prizes, from Amazon Fire tablets or Beats headphones to upcycled hip packs made from bike inner tubes.
There will be 6 student winners total (2 per school level: elementary, middle school and high school)
• The 10 teachers who encourage the most submissions, will be awarded a $50 gift card.

Who Can Participate?
Any kid between the ages of 4 to 18, residing in Atlanta can participate. The students don’t need to be attending an Atlanta Public School they can also
participate from a private school. The students’ families don’t need be EnviroPerks users.
How Must Does It Cost?
Nothing. The participation is free.
How Does The Judging Process Work?
The committee formed of members of the City of Atlanta and EnviroPerks will decide of the winners.
When Are The Winners Contacted?
The winning students and teachers will be contacted in November and invited to a winning ceremony before the end of the year.
