Abstract
Located 15 miles north of Richmond and home of Ashland Street Parties and the Strawberry Faire, Ashland is EnviroPerks’ smallest community, but it’s big on recycling. Ashland residents joined the EnviroPerks family in January 2013 and are rolling in savings from hundreds of regional businesses offering them unique discounts for their environmental efforts.
Enviroperks, The Program
Ashland is the “Center of the Universe!” Residents of the “Best Place to Raise your Kids” in Virginia (2009, Bloomberg Business) get the chance to shop at sweet local businesses and help save the planet by recycling every other week. Ashland may be small but it’s big on recycling!
Ashland is part of the Central Virginia Waste Management Authority, so Ashland residents can find much-needed waste and recycling information on the CVWMA-Ashland page.
Recycling in Ashland is every other Monday. If you need a reminder emailed to you about recycling collection day, use the collection reminder tool found in your EnviroPerks My Account page.
Recycling carts are GREEN and trash carts are GRAY.
